These Terms govern your use of whytradingbot.com, the WHY Partner Portal, the WHY Telegram bot and related software (the “Services”) provided by Why Protocol LTD (“WHY”). By using the Services you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Important digital-asset risk and technology disclaimer. Trading spot or futures with leverage is high-risk and can lose money. The engine has losing days and losing weeks. Past results — simulated or real — are not a promise of future returns. Only trade money you can afford to lose.
1. What WHY is — and is not
WHY provides non-custodial software technology. The Services may show algorithmically generated trading information and, where you activate it, connect your own third-party exchange account through an API and transmit trade instructions according to the strategies and risk parameters you select or accept.
WHY does not accept deposits, hold, safeguard or take custody of your fiat currency, digital assets or private keys. Your assets remain in your own exchange account. WHY has no authority to withdraw or transfer them, and you must only provide API credentials with withdrawal and transfer permissions disabled.
2. No financial advice
WHY does not provide personal financial, investment, legal, tax or accounting advice. Nothing on the website, in the portal, the bot, or any communication is an offer, solicitation, personal recommendation or advice to buy, sell or hold any digital asset. Signals, AI-generated outputs, rankings, backtests, simulated records and automated trade instructions are produced by software and are not tailored to your circumstances. You alone decide whether the Services and any strategy or parameter are appropriate for you.
3. Simulated performance
Performance shown on the live-trades page and in the Partner Portal is generated by WHY’s simulated (paper) trading book unless expressly stated otherwise. No orders were placed and no money was at risk in producing it. Simulated results have inherent limitations, do not reflect real liquidity, latency or slippage, are unaudited, and are not indicative of future results.
4. Automated-trading authorisation
If you enable automated trading, orders may be transmitted to your connected exchange without further confirmation from you. By enabling it you expressly authorise WHY’s software to transmit orders in accordance with the settings you have chosen, and you accept full responsibility for those orders, their outcomes, and for monitoring and disabling the functionality at any time (including by revoking the API key at your exchange).
5. Your responsibilities
- You are at least 18 and legally permitted to trade digital assets where you live.
- You keep your account credentials and exchange API keys confidential, and you create API keys with withdrawals disabled.
- You comply with your exchange’s terms and all laws that apply to you, including tax obligations.
- You will not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, resell or interfere with the Services, or share access to the Partner Portal.
6. Third-party services
Exchanges, Telegram and other third-party services are outside WHY’s control. Their availability, pricing, order handling, outages and rule changes can affect outcomes, and WHY is not responsible for them.
7. Intellectual property
The Services, including the software, strategy logic, models, content, branding and design, are owned by WHY or its licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Services for their intended purpose. Brand assets may be used only as described in the Brand Kit.
8. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, WHY and its officers, employees and partners are not liable for any trading losses, lost profits, loss of data, or indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the Services, from any strategy or signal, from automated order transmission, or from third-party failures — whether or not WHY was advised of the possibility. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid WHY for the Services in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Suspension and termination
WHY may suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time, including for breach of these Terms or to protect the Services or other users. You may stop using the Services and remove your exchange credentials at any time.
10. Changes and contact
